Cork Firewalk – Continuing to Support the Orphanages of Belarus

When a war starts it can be very difficult to imagine the turmoil, anguish and fear that normal, healthy people with a family, good health and employment experience, as everything gets turned on its head.

When they have to leave jobs, homes and families to fight and possibly die to protect their country, their family and their way of life.

Now imagine how much that fear will be amplified by people who do not have their full faculties, and who are relying on the care and support of able-bodied people to look after them, to speak to them, to feed them and to care for them.

Its in times like this that the care and goodwill of those who give to disadvantaged and sections of the community is so important and that is why IODP and their volunteers and supports continue to fundraise during the difficult times.
